Core and Ultimate are recognized. When I subscribed to Console Game Pass the game did not recognize and prompted me to sign up for Core. I upgraded to Ultimate and can now team up.
I did reset my console - this did not fix.
Conclusion: Console Game Pass not recognized as I was prompted to sign up for Core (which I had previously before signing up for Console)
