I played a rogue this weekend because why not and tested all attack skills and combo, polished a build and poison rapid fire was the winner by far. In the last hour someone was asking for help to kill the boss in the level 30 dungeon so i joined and shredded it… faster than i expected.
About the world boss, i would not be afraid to solo it at the higher tier and i kinda did at tier 1 multiple times under the 15 mins to help other players.
I am not a great player and i think i could do it with the average gear i had. I used shadow imbued penetrating shot to 1 shot everything other than bosses while soloing (level 1 poison imbued penetrating shot x4-5 vs. dungeon bosses) i just swapped the 7 points to rapid fire for the world boss.
It is really strong but it was the most fun and satisfying thing i played in this type of game by far. It looks like the sorcerer can do similar or better but i did not test it yet.
I would not try that on hardcore, the massive amount of pressure would kill me 100%!
It scales. Blizzard intentionally giving him a solo instance makes the boss easier, especially for rogue.

When I did that stronghold everything I got was for lvls 24-26. Either they fixed it or he was doing something different.
The mobs drop 24-26 items, but the chests, and breakable items drop some level 20 items. He made an intelligent choice, and farmed those items, and ignored the mobs.
No exploit at all, just smart emergent gameplay.

Hes actually a decent human ( dont see those much anymore) doesnt whine and moan like 99.9% of the rest of the youtubers, stays pretty optimistic, generally down to earth person with good advice and has a great passion for Diablo. And one hell of a good player.
Actually really confused why he isnt the go to person for the dev interviews when he knows more about their game then they do and isnt a Yes boy nor a drama starter.

You’re probably right, but I hope not. It was actually one of the jewels I found during the slam event. Quite a bit of fun to play.
