If blizzard were to introduce some new class packs like they did with the necromancer would you pay, say, 50 dollars US?
Update: seems like the general consensus is that people wouldn’t pay that for just a new class. So probably add in a tattoo and an emote.
$50? Not a chance. I wouldn’t pay a dime for a class all by itself. I would pay for a true expansion that includes a new class but it needs to be bulky like a WoW expansion.
Not right now, but if they expanded loot, added an endgame, and actually balanced the classes they have right now, then yeah I probably would.
They should pay me 20$ an hour for playtesting

I actually won’t be spending another dollar on ABK. D4 was the last straw for me and this gluttonous pig of a company that neither gives a crap about their customers, nor respects their time.
I didn’t with the Necro in D3. I am at the point now that if an Expansion was released tomorrow, I wouldn’t buy it.

i’m not a hater, i’m really enjoying the game, but no, new class is a expansion thing, i would pay for an expansion but no for a standalone class

I generally dont think the price of a game matters much. As in, a game does not get worse or better because it costs $70 or $10, the price is fairly irrelevant for quality.
But $50 for a class would be absurd. Wouldn’t pay that out of principle.
$20 for a class? Would consider it. Albeit, they really should bundle classes with a bit more content than that. Like a new area that relates to that class or something.

If it were significantly cheaper then sure, as long as I still enjoyed the game. Preferably would like to see the class come out with an expansion though.
There is a lot of work that needs to still go into this game before I would even think about handing over any more money.
For one the amount of rubber-banding/server lag that they expect us to just deal with is a joke, could easily be fixed by hiring some actual netcode devs instead of just doing it on the cheap and telling themselves “the technology doesnt exist to make this better yet” when it was clearly better 10 years ago before AAA companies decided to do away with traditional anti-cheat methods and instead simulate EVERYTHING on the server, which leads to the terrible performance we all get to play with now.
Just look at the death of ESO and New World as examples of how to save money on anti-cheat while at the same time introducing seconds worth of latency to the players, and how it leads said players to quickly look for other forms of entertainment.
DEVS, STOP DOING UR RESEARCH ON CONSUMER COMPLACENCY ON THE FORUMS! GO FIX THE GAME!
Before we talk about new classes they should balance Classes/Builds who are allready ingame
Why are we talking about spending more money on a game that isn’t finished and if it is then hell no. I wouldn’t buy squat from Blizzard.
If it came with offline mode AND blizzard would let me use programs like map hack or uoRazor.
Hell maybe even let me tweak my own OFFLINE chars with hero editor…
