Feels like one of the executives looked over at the desk next to them and saw the Call of Duty battle pass and a graph and said, āMAKE THAT BUT MAKE IT EVEN MORE SOULLESS!ā
Iāve tried defending this game online for so long. Itās over for me. And the fact that our only āhopeā is another expensive paid expansion has killed it for me. Screw this corporate greed. The game isnāt fun anymore, anyway. The incursions are boring and theyāve changed NOTHING in the gameplay loop that I havenāt done a trillion times before.

The early powers you get should have been exciting. For the most part they are lame and lack lustre. I donāt see the issue with bosses having high health though. One of them is the Lord of Lies. I think some of us are too used to one shotting every boss we encounter. Blizzardās fault on that.

Partway through S5 for me. But I skipped VoH - I suppose mercs mightāve added a layer of enjoyment (runewords were an obviously flat itemization gimmick)ā¦ but on the whole I never saw much love expressed for mercs at all. To judge by feedback, youād think theyāre barely there, if not a slight nuisance. A bit disappointing, even with my bar set very, very low. 
Are the voices in ur language with AI too? Unfortunately fore when I hear that robotic soulless voice in the game itās a super ultra nope let down for me, poor Belial didnāt deserve that

And here I thought the last season was terrible. Iām not even sure I can make it a full day of this snoozefest

Iām inclined to agree with you and unfortunately I was usually one of the people that wanted to give them a chance to improve the game.
They hit the brakes on leveling a little bit as well as progression and thatās alright with me. The loot still sucks though.
The powers are from recycled themes, the seasonal pass is unnecessary with the way itās set up, and the incursions are literally just rehashed legion events tweaked a little. I hate legion events. I think I did maybe one or two the entire last season and iām pretty sure it was by accident somehow lol.
I told myself I would take a break this season and I got too curious. Now iām disappointed that I spent 4 hours playing D4 when it could have gone to LE. I see some minor improvement in certain aspects of the game but itās just the same stuff every season. They just changed some names and labels around and BOOM, new season!

to each their own. I canāt run another monolith. i donāt remember any season of d4 getting as boring as quickly as LE.
LE has some of the best ideas. Itās just so boring
