Has blizzard addressed this at all. I was actually on a group the other day and thought it was just my bad luck timing, but was with friends today who had the notice3 and went to fight the boss, but not there for me. Im level 70 and havent seen a WB since beta. What is going on blizzard, my end game material is lacking hard. What a ridiculous bug.

They address bugs in the patch notes after they patch them.
Check these posts or whatever is stickied at the top of the general forums if you want to see if they addressed something.
I am having the same problem. I get notifications that a world boss is spawing and there is nothing on the map. This happens 90% of the time.
I have the same problem. They tell me to report a bug. It just refers me to forums so I havenāt been able to report that bug. Do you know how to report the bug?
I know the notification shows up AFTER the boss has spawned for some reason. Perhaps youāre seeing the message after the boss has spawned already?
Why isnāt the location of the World Boss & Legion events showing up on my map?

Wow this thread/bug is old. Saw this yesterday. Logging out and logging in āfixedā it but this is obviously not a real solutionā¦

just pull up map then hit F for filters and hit the reset button and boom its fixed

Port to a different āREGIONā.
This has consistently fixed it for me and Iāve had this issue since S1.
Upon logging in(this never happens during an active session) I will see the splash notification āWorld Boss Spawning soon in āX Regionāā.
Looking at the Map = no Icon
I port to a different region than the one I logged into - ie. I log in to Hawezar ā port to Gea Kul = World Boss Icon Appears.
Porting withing the SAME region does not clear it up for me - I must port to a different one.
Never had to relog or mess with map or anything.
Just open Map - select a WayPoint elsewhere(other Region than Iām currently in) and port there.
Fixed.
Be nice if Blizz would FIX this YEAR. OLD. BUG.

Word. Same situation on PS5.
I have the same issue. I just got back into the game after stopping after Season 2. I see the World Boss timer counting down, but I canāt see its spawn spot on the map.
I had to port to a different region, then relog, and port again.
Thing is, it does do this consistently. In fact, its pretty rare for me.

Just an exit to menu/Character select screen and back in I hope.
For me it really only ever happens on 1st log in.
The oddities Iāve seen are when it affects 2 characters when Iām doing a WT4 WB(10 seconds) then swapping to a WT2/3 WB with a diff character.
I log in with main for WT4 WB. Have to ājump regionsā to activate it on map and go there.
Exit.
Log in with WT2 or WT3 Alt Iām leveling - They ALSO have to ājump regionsā to activate WB.
Regardless, only ever on a fresh log in.
Hope itāll be fixed sometime soonā¢

Hadnāt considered switching world tiers to fix it. I will try that next time.
