I have been a lover of penshot ever since preseason. Naturally, since I haven’t done it in a while and with a skill tree rework I decided to try it this expansion. I thought I was doing pretty well, blissfully unaware a lot of my progress was thanks to a cowl of the nameless bug. After that was fixed, it appears to me that pen shot ended up getting hard capped around torment 10 (in which I could clear it at a decent speed but not much beyond that). Now I’m not exactly sure where blizzard wants balancing, if they want everything to be viable at t10 and only certain builds to get to t12 that’s… fine? (seems weird with all the season journey objectives wanting you to get to 11-12) but I long for the day where pen shot is a top tier build again. Is there any hope for pen shot, now or ever?
It’s the only build I like, I was so excited to see it got a new version. That one that fires a bigger slower shot feels incredible. I’ve been shredding the campaign with it, thought with the big multiplier it had that it could scale into endgame but I guess that was just wishful thinking. Guess rogue will be stuck being a melee class forever or some other gimmick. Blizzard seems incapable of making a long range build function. Thanks for the heads up I guess I should start preparing an alternative.
Pen shot is literally the best rogue build.

Everything is bugged right now. Half of my items don’t work properly. It’s to be expected when they didn’t do a ptr. Lol
