i consider it a little weird people are so obsessed with it. i mean, if we check forum history, people hate the mtx shop, yet this topic seems to grab some attention?
as i said earlier in this thread, i doubt itll be a regular change for these FFs. personally i assume itll rotate every now and then, which is cool.
but hey, maybe im just a different kind of customer - i purchase whatever i feel like. if i consider a 20 bucks skin nice enough, i will. so far i purchased 3 skins since release, which is ok to me as i like them =D
They even removed the official blog post and thread about it as far as I can tell. Itās like the thing never existed. Maybe theyāll bring it back with new season or maybe they tried to quietly backtrack on itā¦
Me too. I know I am paying irl money for pixels but Iām a mog junky and it makes me happy.

right? i mean i personally i also like to spend money on fancy clothes, so i wonder why these discussions come up.
I agree that people wouldnt want mtx in a fleshed out full price game, but i think we can all agree, that d4 being a live service model isnt a fully fleshed out game and evolves with every season.

Because many people thought it might lead to some improvements to the pricing structure and how cosmetics were offered. A lot of people were also disappointed with what was offered, as many of the discounted cosmetics were for classes they didnāt play.
But the whole experiment seems to have been dropped like a hot potato. Which is a bit disappointing. There were some good ideas in there, just wasnāt executed well.

Still, they could come out and say something like fortune finds didnt reach expectations or anything really. The silence is deafening here
So that should indicate that FF was not making as much as they projected and they are putting no more effort into that.
