Why making the game easier? 🤷‍♂️

So if it’s too easy, can someone post their clips/videos of them rolling with their blue/yellow/white gear?

And that’s wrong…in ARPG it’s always about min/maxing the own char to a point to beat a certain challange.

I don’t talk here about challanges like Elder Ring Bosses, but at least mobs and bosses who fight back.

In D2 f.e. you have the challange with immunes…only with a propper build you’re able to farm most of the areas in the game and youre bound to certain areas if you’re not propperly equiped.

In POE you can juice all content and define the challange by yourself…you need quite good gear to farm fully juiced 100% Deli maps.

In D4 the only challange are higher pits and thats it…The challange is limited to only 1 activity and lets be honest, it’s not rly that fun.

Whats wrong with having a possibility to juice content outside of pits, so people can enjoy challanigng content outside of pits?

That’s against any rule in a ARPG…why should I do that?

I equip myself in ARPGs to beat harder content, not opposite.

After a long, tiring day, I finally cleared pit floor 91 thanks to this patch! I’ve been struggling all season, but now, even with only 3-4 hours a week to play, it feels achievable. I’m so thrilled and more in love with the game than ever!

You would have something if not for the 2 percent drop rate idea. 2 percent? Mob gets 100000 times more hp and you going to get a whole 2 percent better drops? More like 2000 percent increase.
And pits a great way to farm legos. 7 legos in 90 secs. Not that much slower than maiden if you put a heart in. Problem is those legos the same exact same chance to be good as maiden.
And not just that. Should never be more efficient to run a low pit fast then push to push higher. Right now a 100 pit is 90 secs a 110 is 120 secs a 120 is 5 minutes. The 100 is FAR more efficient for mats and loot,. Why would you go high at all?

He can create the challenge he wants very easily if that was really what he wants. But in reality, he doesnt want challenge, he want OTHERS to fail so he can feel better himself

Sadly for him, S4 is BY FAR the most successful Season in D4 and its a clear message to the Devs about the direction that game should take

Comments like the ones the OP is making is the reason why we had Seasons like 1 and 3 which were a complete failure

I’m enjoying all the changes being able to masterwork 12/12 now on what are B grade specs cause there fun. Not everyone rocks the flavor of the month s tier build

S4 is garbage the loot changes have nothing to do with season. And are only good if the rest of the game gets better and it has not. Same game as every season with a dead end no endgame and no reason to play after first 3 days of season as we have had since the start.
And the only reason d4 has even a few playing is because they are in luck and the entire gaming industry in a slump and have not seen a decent game release all year.

And here we go.

Another post where people went to d4builds or maxroll, copied what they saw as S tier builds from the streamers, facerolled everything, and then come on this forum because facerolling it all has become slightly easier for them, and complain about it.

Go play an off spec Druid or Sorc. Then come back and complain some more.

Ofc this happens in all games but the problem in D4 is that this fact is to significant throughout most of the areas of the game.

Or is it fun for you to stand in the middle of the Helltide and take 0 damage while 1 hitting everything after a very short time?

And Pits being the only place where monster actualy do damage to your char?

God damn, the younger generation obviously has serious problems to read meaningfuly…I give up. -.-

S1-3 weren’t better…they were way to trivial aswell (even more bcs we hadn’t Pits)

And again…this is not the point of this thread, is it rly so hard to read meaningfuly?

S4 is a amazing direction and I’m all for that, it’s only about the possibility to juice content outside of Pits so we have more endgame activities than just 1 called Pits.

Casual cosmetics / rp / battle pass player here…

This season, i registered that 10 levels ahead is what i consider “easy” in a video game.

Every no lifer that claims this game is for casuals makes me furious as they’re talking out of their rear with no perception at all for what they’re saying.

The dumbed down easyness is ONLY for streamers / no lifers / poe players. That’s it.

I hear you. I still remember when Blizzard first did WOW Classic Hardcore and players wanted it to be nerfed easier because they were dying at level 5. Seriously, losing their charactets at level 5. These were obviously current retail players who were use to just running thru mobs and obliterating them while leveling.

The biggest problem for me in modern gaming is this desire to push everything to end game. No one cares about the journey anymore thus it becomes trivialized because god forbid the player gets challenged before receiving his participation trophy. :roll_eyes:

I talk here about ENDGAME DIVERSITY…means that we have more places to play our endgame builds and have challange while doing so beside higher Pits.

Thats not the point of the post, otherwise it would have another title, i dont mind an item like Profane Mindcage to make things harder for those that want to, but your post was about “Why Blizzard made the game easier” in the last patch

The answer was already given to you, it was because plenty of builds couldnt get the latest Masterworking mateials

the people that are saying it is “too easy” are most defiantly using “meta” builds and guides. don’t let them fool you or anyone else for that matter. also, RNG for gear and rolls are on their side unless they bought their gear(s).

Was d3 harder than D4? Idk for sure, hard to judge cuz in D3 you could choose higher difficulty from the start.

I mean overall i think they are on the same cookie clicker level but somehow D4 becoming more and more dumber. Idk why, but probably they need more and more cosmetics sales.
