Why Make Bloodless Scream Worse!?

I know most don’t care, because not many want to use Bloodless Scream, but with minons being viable now I wanted to give the cold/darnkess build a go. The main upside outside of darkness skills applying chill, was that they also had a guarented dmg buff to frozen enemies. Now, it is added into the lucky hit section that was originally just occupied with the essence gen part of it.

Why make this niche item worse, when it was underpowered to begin with.

Cold/Darkness build sounds qool. Do you know in what patch notes that change has occured? I would look then for other changes done in those patch notes for chill/frozen related effects - it might give you an explanation.

Nvm. Seems that it was just listed incorrectly on D4builds. The dmg buff to frozen is seperate still from the lucky hit.

It’s still one of the worst effects you can put on a 2h slot.
While I agree that the idea of a frost/darkness build sounds kind of cool, using something like Blighted on your scythe will be so much better it doesn’t even compare.

Of course, not discrediting that there are much better weapons and aspects for that slot, just the fact that the darkness/cold necro was fun for me, but too hard to upkeep minions. With the changes, I want to give it another try. For bosses at least, the rate at which you put staggered on them is very fast.

Well it wasn’t listed anywhere from what I can tell, but looking at my Bloodless Scream in-game, the dmg to frozen has been increased to 150%, which is pretty cool.
