Why is the pit not group friendly?

Dear Blizzard.
I play games to have fun with my friends.
But in this season you made the main grind(the pit) totally not worth it in a group.
you need to make it so its not only the person opening the pit that get full materials:
Everyone should get that, in fact you should give a group bonus in order to promote groups.
You could off course then charge the entry fee from everyone in the group.
I get extremely Bored after a few solo runs in the pit.
And i can say for sure that i am not going to keep playing season after season if its equivalent to shooting myself in the foot when i group with my friends!
As it is i still play pit with my friends, but we get way less materials pr hour than we would if we just did it solo.
That is just wrong on so many levels in a social game!!

I understand they wanted to balance things so solo players were not at a disadvantage. However I can progress faster playing the pit solo than in a group. In the pit the group is only as strong as the weakest link.

Ideally a group and a solo player should earn approx. the same materials per hour to be balanced.

Didn’t know that! What a disappointment! Now I don’t want to play with friends.

Just charge everyone an entrance fee and get same rewards. Tweak it so it scales per person if need be. Like GRs

I don’t think they considered time investment.

Despite the trivial cost of entering the pit. All players involved are investing the same amount of time doing it and thus should get the same amount of rewards. I have over 1k of whatever that currency is. No one cares who opens.

Its a horrible system and all my friends quit because of it. We want to play together, we can pay the opening fee. I dont even care of everyone needs to use mats at Uber bosses. We want to play together.

Yes it is true. The pits definitely discourage group play. In for raids at this point lol.
