Seriously, make the mounts more resilient. Litrerally, the moment a single peasant mob, from the open world in T4, hits my cat A SINGLE TIME, it disappears. Aren’t we supposed to have these things to actually use them? Or is it just some wild fantasy?
id agree that it does feel like this happens a good bit more this season.
Probably one of the reasons why you see so many evade sb zooming around. It’s faster than mounts.
One single arrow kills my horse. I mostly stopped using them and run around with 200% movement speed.
Thats just once again another reason why it’s obvious that nobody with any say at blizzard plays the game.
frustrated mount chat, its my favorite water cooler/coffee clutch chat.
Back in the day, it was funny as you could romp thru big demons full bore into them and stay on your mount however one of those annoying tiny flies would hunt you down like the big pile of poop you are and kung fu kick you off your mount. It was kinda funny of the phyics at work, big demon - no problem, tiny fly - look out pink panther - wreck your house/ i mean horse
I’m scared to hop on my horse, if I go full speed ahead in any direction there is a 80% chance I’ll get knocked off my horse by invisible mobs that hasn’t loaded in the screen yet and Die.
That or the mobs that Are loaded completely block my horse from going through them even if I’m at full speed- that or invisible pebbles or blades of grass on the ground that I didn’t see before… or Invisible tree branches lined up against the wall that stop me from moving at all…
Devs have changed mobs’ behavior while mounting. They do not detect my toon while mounting before. I’m wondering why this has made.
Mount has a history of complaint and improvement. Mostly from its frastrating spec. Why this frastration reintroduced again???
Did the cooldown get longer too or is it just more irritating because we’re getting knocked off?
It feels like old-school WoW now.
I find my mount is catching on things a lot more now too. Full speed to complete halt. Or just running against an invisible wall.
i havent played this season yet but in the past if you dismount the mount on your own, there is a small cool down. However if you are getting “hit” you build up a “red” bar and when its fully lite, one more hit will make you suffer a long refresh before you can mount again. I want to say it was 30 seconds
the frustrating part of this mount dismount is if you are on a top cliff and want to go down, if you have no “red bar” showing, you can dismount, climb down and wait about 1 to 3 seconds before mounting again, however if you even had a tip of red on your bar and dismounted on your own to climb down - you stil had to suffer that longer cool down.
