Because the so-called Critic reviews are paid shills. The User score is the REAL score.
These especially, when the game launched I might have given it a 8 or 9. But past level 50, it becomes a SLOG. No gear drops worth mentioning in HOURS of play. You may find a style at level 60 that works great only to level to 65 and find you canât find upgrades with the pieces you need to make it work anymore so you get out powered by the mobs in the same relative content you had fun in before. Not to mention, finding ALL the pieces again at a higher level is just plain maschistic.
AND you have to do that a few times over in the leveling process.
The real kicker for me was the 400th (Probably way more) time I teleported back to town to clear out my bags that had zero useful gear in it and gems. I had to run to 3 vendors or my stash to take care of the mess and then went at it again to have the same thing happen again after 1/2 a dungeon. After smashing your face against a brick wall hoping for that 1% drop it just becomes a lesson in time wasted instead of time spent enjoying something.
Give us a torchlight vendor run companion.
Give us some hope at gear drops or a way to make your gear with the stats you need for the crazy 10 thousand stats you created.
Gem bag. Or make them a currency like Gold or something other than a 6 slot gear bag drop.
NO COST RESPECTS!!! For gods sake, WHY does it cost to respec when your gear costs hundreds of thousands to repair, upgrade, craft? To lock you into a play style that might not be the new discovered meta for your own balance annaysis in the background? I donât get itâŚ
End of game for me.
Ummm⌠Christyne, is that you?
To all the White Knights with Blizzards white stuff on their lip once again. Think about it this way. If your beloved Blizzard overlords actually work on improving the game quality without creating 500 more bugs in the process and take down the cash shop until game is in working order, im sure the ratings would skyrocket back up. When the Cash Shop and Fenris errors are the 2 most stable/consistent working features of this game, I will gladly inspire others to keep that rating where it belongs.
Same here, look at the good side, it makes you relax
No idea who that is.

Game is in a beta state. The larger portion can play the game just fine. Hundreds of thousands of others cannot, not without ridiculous hoop jumping. And it seems the more they add (mob density, seasonal stuff), the worse it got for those players. I was one of them, and swapping to a radeon fixed it, but that should not have been.

Story is fine, itâs everything after. The grind loop is terrible. Where previous versions of diablo, power leveling was an option to get your buddies caught up, they shun it this iteration. Why? They want people to grind to 100 and be bored as hell doing it? One real end game boss? There is almost zero content after the story. Thats pretty stupid when they have a level cap of 100, and story ends around level 50 your first time around.

They value internal metrics more than human feed back. This loops back to them gaslighting, and banning chatters asking about content for the game. Maybe it will come season to season, but they really did release an incomplete game, of course, in my opinion (and many others).

It doesnât matter how much hatred they get, the game is an initial success. Sold over 10 million copies, and hammered home a billion or more for activision-blizzard. But to the player looking beyond 50, again, itâs quite doody. They cater too hard to the investors and hire developers who have never played anything in the diablo franchise. That was very evident in the latest video they took down with developers gaming - pressing one button and chatting it up. Was bad.
So the game isnât fun?
Time to make the game fun!
Blizzard immediately nerfs everyones gear
itâs really 2.2? seems a little high if you ask me.
yeah we really need a 1 out of 10
only 1 out of 10 bad points sounds good to me. Metascore now works like the german grading system. 1 ist the best
