Why do you guys think nerfs are so bad?

What’s so wrong with big numbers? Why do you fear “power creep” because bosses will be made that are harder? Content will be made that’s harder? I embrace the power creep. Man I really wish you’d look back on D3 and realize how successful D3 was and still is.

I hated the idea of having a paragon cap in D3. Want to know why? Think about it for a second. Then take a guess.

I want a game, that I can endlessly grind for more upgrades, for more power, for more challenges. I don’t care if the wall comes in the form of 200Q or 200K damage numbers, it doesn’t matter. What matters is the feeling of hitting the wall, grinding through it with persistence and finally overcoming that wall, only to hit the next wall.

You cannot do that in D4 currently, there is no wall you can overcome with persistence, only with RNG that gives you better gear or finding something you can exploit. In D3 everytime you got a paragon level, you got a small but not insignificant little boost to your damage and survivability.

That’s why I’m against the current “nerf phase”. That’s why I’m against removing seasonal content, that’s why I’m against only having up to T4 in difficulty. Let me “break” the game. Let me feel powerful, we ARE descendants of Lilith after all. Let me feel that power running in my blood, let me persist and overcome the challenges and finally let me have some fun.

But that’s just like my opinion bro.
