Sure d4 makes stuff look good and that is great. However when we have magic, we surely can ride a wolf or a bear or something.

Dark fantasy always tryes to stay closer to realism, even if there are monsters and magic, it does not leap away from it as much as high fantasy. Though Iâm not against haveing animals that realisticly can be mounted, to be added as mounts. Like deers, that big horned beast that charges at you, camels as someone mentioned and there are cows, so there must be bulls. Bears probably, maybe? Just because itâs a fantasy world, it doesnât mean it has no limitations.
I shall be continuing to demand my rainbow farting whimsyshire unicorn mount. Eternally.
There will be camel mounts but they will be announced like an awesome feature the gaming world has never seen before and a thing even greater than âchristmas every dayâ.
Agree with op. There is no reason not to have other mounts in game. They all function the same. Different ones would sell better in shop and then this opens up tons of more options. I could overhaul shop so gud. Alt skill effects, diff mounts, overlay skins, player housing, ect.

meaning monsters and magic (albeit only ritualistic / blood / elemental ones : not rainbow magic) are fair game.
and i did say skeleton horse / deers etc⊠are coherent in this kind of atmosphere since they already exist, so wolf / bear too since they are realist and/or fit in a dark atmosphere
i specifically said âno fairy mountâ as in something that doesnât go with the dark atmosphere of diablo
that said : problem with wolf and bear is that i donât think they can run as fast as horse while being mounted
What is truly needed is a sturdy horse large enough to carry around the heavy armor and the bulk of the Druid. These poor average size horses look like they might collapse under all that weight! We need Friesians dammit!

They need to fix the speed of mounts and stop having them get stuck on every pebble or blade of grass on the groundâŠ
or stop a player in full sprint from a dead tree branch before they add any different kindâs of mountsâŠ
Better question. Why the speed limits in town while mounted and why no unlimited sprint?

It was, most specifically at season 2, but now IMO the horse is broke again.

I am personally content with having just horses in D4, but maybe of different varieties. I really would like to see sturdier war horses.
Anyway, I have seen that PoE2 will also have mounts, and they will include all sorts of things such as giant birds. So I donât see why D4 couldnât go the same route eventually, it would also be good for their cosmetics shop since it will add more variety. If the rumours of the giant cat mounts coming soon is true that is exactly what will happen.
