D3 was fine. Had a lot of fun with the seasonal content.
Not only the abilities them selves are balanced around 6, but also the amount abilities. With more buttons every build would be sameâŚ
People probably think that D4 is an MMO and they think it should have âdozensâ of skill bars like in WoW.
and Candy Crush is Blizzard/Activisionâs #1 revenue generator. Whatâs your point?
Pretty obvious what my point was that not everything d3 was bad.
I didnât say everything was bad.
Customization requires limitations, there is nothing creative about adding everything and when everybody can have everything all at once, youâre all copy of each other.
Ah yes, the easiest way to identify a loser, they always blame their failure on some authority that doesnât let them shine and wants to keep them down with the average people. Grow up man, your posturing is pathetic.
The same people who wants more buttoms and morer skills. Is the same people who have Maxroll and icy-veins on favorits to look up bilds.
the ultimate skill is really the only thing I wish had its own button
I would also say d3 was better than D2 and d1. Going back to both is just a chore.
Not a great argument. Considering many MMOâs play just fine with much more than 6 buttons.
And legendaries wonât make less buttons more relevant. The +skill system opens up a ton of utility options that you simply cannot utilize at all and it simply feels bad.
D3 was bad. Endless PvE grind with no real end replayability.
And Thatâs not just an opinion. Itâs a fact. You had more people logged into diablo 2 than diablo 3
Not sure what youâre on about here. Even with a 10 move skill bar you could still play the rogue like 15 different ways. 6 skill cap is not allowing for âcustomization.â
Yeah youâre assuming alot here. Iâm not blaming anyone for anyone failures - Iâm simply stating a fact. What if starcraft capped you at 200 APM? Should the proâs have to play down to accommodate casuals and consoles?
I will not apologise for being a D2 player, but the 6 skill buttons feel like they had to limit it because of the constraints of console controllers
Easy compromise is 2 lots of 5
So the console can use a trigger button, L2 as an example to modify what row of skills they are accessing and will give keyboard and mouse more freedom to pick and choose there layout
Very rarely is more choice a bad thing
I want more buttons because druid have a lot of options and 6 buttons aint enough mr sir maam.
There are a little more than 20 skills for each class, some of them serving a similar purpose, most of them being very different. Do you need 5 spenders spec into on barb? do you need all of their defensives, ultimates and both of their movement skills? I say no, i say i would rather have to choose, depending on the barbarian i want to build and depending on the legendaries i have. The choice between 6/23 abilites vs 12/23 severely limits the builds imho.
Itâs just hard to tell right now without seeing the end game gear. Like for example, I imagine rallying shout and warcry for barbarian will ultimately end up being 1 shout based on aspect from an item. Thereâs no way they expect you to bind two shouts when you only get 6 moves. And if this sort of thing happens what does this say about your customization? They will be mashing it all together anyway
Iâm betting someone like Kripp and probably some other streamers said it and now their âfansâ will parrot it across the internet.
The customization will be choosing if that legendary is worth using in your build no? taking up a crucial gear slot might be what makes of breaks your build.
Ok so then if my build is limited by my gear why does it also need to be limited by 6 moves? This is called customization?
