To be fair, I think rubberbanding is mostly client side; also, I would not have been able to play with some friends but for console support.
HOWEVER, the missing social aspect of the game is very annoying. No chat rooms, no LFP, no market place… Diablo 2 had a lobby that looked like it was done using html and it worked better than whatever is in d4.
