Good question, who knows?
Nonsense.
blizz math
For sure at least, 50 is way too low for something that drops every couple minutes or that I need 12 at a time to use.
I have one entire stash only for mats and it’s hard to make space. I would go for 999 stacks. Mats, runes, potions, elixirs, whatever.
I’m having a bad time even with sigils, I’m destroying everything every 10 minutes, I guess this should be next QoL to process since I suspect dungeons are the most ignored activity right now. But if it’s only me I apologise.
lol omg every comment here is based. blizz let’s go! yall got much needed work to do giddy up
Antiquated system.
Remember - their whole design and philosophy at launch was this will be a sloooow game and level 100 would take x time etc.
I think there was a lot of naivete back then w them.
Heck recall the Aspects system of extraction and storage and the Aspect inventory only had 22 SPACES when all other Tabs had 33.
Bonkers.
I have a feeling the low stack count on Boss Mats has more to do with reducing the ease of duping and rmt than anything else.
Token gesture of a “hard line stance” haha.
No offense designers - your hands might be tied with this one, I understand.
An alternative I’ve suggested a number of times…
Either way, 100% correct - 50 is too small a size.
Still might be that sticking to original design naivete thinking players will farm and use them here and there vs blasting through hundreds at a shot.
Cheap duping speed bump.
