Why even have pvp zones when there’s no way to balance the damage. Not to mention the mobility issues. Sometimes i think you guys are trolling d2 players.
pvp never will be balanced. As for why there even are pvp zones, the answer is simple. Some people still enjoy pvping. just like they did in diablo 2.
I dont see an issue with pvp zones. I dont pvp myself, so i just dont use them.
you dont do billions of damage to other players. if you pvp’d you would know this
I’ve been in pvp zones many times. Never have I seen another player…
lmao no one pvp’s in d4. hence the post.
oh you are mistaken. some people actually do. Hence why people regularly come up with “pvp balance” threads here.
I dont see an issue with pvp zones. since they are optional and i dont have to do them, i can just be happy that its there for the people who enjoy it.
no one pvp’s in d4 lmao. stop trying to act like they do. jesus…
i go there to clear out whispers and sometimes farm, i farmed out the cosmetics long ago, i would endlessly pvp, but as time went on, i noticed i would load a fresh instance of the zone as the boss wasn’t roaming the map yet, and it was like this every time i went there, and no one else ever joined. crossplay on, off, didn’t matter. not a soul last season.
i personally know 3 people that do. also, you can just use the forum search and find people asking for more pvp features.
i mean… whats your agenda here?
to have pvp in the game. and what i mean by that is…to go into a pvp zone and pvp with other players. not larping pvp in an empty pvp zone.
well, then you might have bought the wrong game, as it was clearly stated that the focus of d4 wont be pvp. Consider it a fun side activity if anything.
I wouldn’t have an issue with them if they were truly 100% optional and every aspect of the game could be completed without them.
But so far, every seasonal journey has had at multiple quests in it that required use of some aspect of the PvP zones. Most (but not all) of these quests can be completed without actually participating in PvP, but there’s always the chance you could get ambushed while there. And while you can complete all the levels without doing all the quests, the journey itself will still show as 100% completed.
So my perspective is keep the PvP zones for those who want them, but for every PvP quest in the seasonal journeys, there should be a non-PvP alternative (that is no more difficult than the PvP quest) that will mark the quest and journey as 100% completed.
Basically, I don’t object to PvP zones existing, but Bliz should stop trying to push people who don’t want to PvP into PvP.
if you want pvp in izometric arpg better install lost ark online
there you have normalized gear and various of modes
or install league of legends lmao
i played in PCL pvp in diablo 2 and it was NEVER ballanced. you probably never pvped in d2
we need to have to set rules like not using faith grand matriarchal bow or grief runeword
oh, yea thats true and i think i can agree on that. I dont mind special achievements for people who want to pvp. but yea, alternatives to 100% a season journey doesnt sound bad.
you probably dont play video games lol and yeah d2 isn’t balanced, but pvp is still there. at least you can actually pvp there. AND we’re talking about a 20+ yr old game. d4 developers cant even come CLOSE to d2.
dont be mad, just accept the facts
i gave you couple options
Aren’t the D2 players the ones that wanted pvp to begin with? They’re the reason it exists, because they complained it wasn’t in D3.
PvP is probably in the game to give a sense of danger in those zones, with some unique cosmetic rewards from the vendors to make it worthwhile (until you get them). Otherwise it’s just an afterthought.
this is exactly my point. when d3 came out, we were all hyped up because surely (we thought) they would build off of d2, not completely move away from it. and when we got d3 “pvp zones”, that was a deal breaker for a lot of people. and now they do the exact same thing…
D3 only had arenas. No one liked it. A lot of us didn’t like pvp in D2 either. It was more like griefing than pvp.
Personally, I think they should just not have pvp in any way, shape, or form.
