Fun fact - “The Orange Box”, which originally came with Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2 and Portal, was the first place you could get Steam! I installed it when I got it at a local game shop in 2007. It was great because the “add game” feature on the original release could take command line arguments, so I’d often add multiple versions of games with different command line arguments(Mostly ADOM, old adventure games, and Dwarf Fortress). This meant that you could add a .bat script and name it(eg. Back up Dwarf Fortress World) and it would allow you to run that script when you needed too from the game list. You can still kinda do this with the “add a game” function, but it doesn’t work as well.
