Who's ideas were these?

The tower seems designed to piss me (the player who paid for your game) off.

Issue 1. Every mob appears to have something to keep it from being grouped to allow it to be killed. Are we supposed to kill mobs individually? No. This is impossible for how the game is designed. And this to say nothing of all mobs going unstoppable that CAN be controlled after a bit of time being stunned. I’m not a paladin. I cannot one shot everything. I should not have to one shot everything. In fact, the mobs don’t even appear to want to fight us. More than half the time they’re just running away not even trying to attack our characters. How is that fun at all? What are you thinking?

Issue 2. Elemental resistance. At higher and higher levels of the tower, coming across a mob type with this buff kills the run right away. What’s worse is if you’re doing well on the first level and then get to the next and the mobs have the general resistance or a resistance specific to your build, boom you’re done. You can’t just get through it. You just wasted your time. It’s not fun. What are you thinking?

Issue 3. The spires. They’re valuable. Good job. At high levels, however, if you don’t get good ones, boom your run is over. GLHF start over. If you don’t get any. GLHF start over. If you don’t get the right ones in the right order. GLHF start over. It’s not fun. What were you thinking?

Issue 4. RNG. When you get geared up, when you’ve survived the RNG hell hole that is Diablo gearing, now you have to hope the RNG is on your side when you enter the tower because there’s almost no chance you get a run actually worth spending your time in. maybe one in ten look good to start…then you get to the next level and another one in ten the next level is good. RNG RNG RNG RNG. I feel like I’m getting hit over the head with it playing your game. Some is fun. Getting that good piece of gear feels great. However, the amount of gear you have to go through is not and then when it’s over out comes the RNG bat again to make you question why you bought/played at all.

Issue 5. When a run goes bad I shouldn’t have to alt f4 and log back in to keep playing. Is that really the player experience you want? Imagine you’re a pissed off player, your run just ended that was looking good because of some sort of RNG bull taking a crap on you. Oh and now you can’t leave. Alt f4…..now I’m out of the game….do I really wanna go back in to get crapped on again? Oh, but you have to or how else can you even try to compete?

In summary, this is meant to be a game. That means it should be fun. I should not have to play it like a second job to gear up to the level that makes me competitive with people whose job it is to actually play this game. And if by some chance you do (e.g getting really lucky with sanctifying…………….i mean really really really lucky……yikes) you better be able to put as much time in as them farming for the perfect run so you can even appear on the board. I know having streamers play your game is great for marketing, but right now if you can’t play as much as them you might as well not even try to rank up and therefore gear and therefore even play. If 99.9 percent of your players aren’t streamers and feel that way about your game I don’t think you’ll have a game much longer. I’ve played since day one hoping things would get better and in many ways they have, but if something’s not done about these issues I doubt I’ll last much longer. This is the last Blizzard game I have left. I’ve quite playing the others for apparent lack of care on the designer’s part. I’m really hoping this one will be different, but it’s not looking good.
