Let’s not beat around the bush. Data miners have given us all the hints we need about season 1…the real question is if you have a tier 5 will that be enough? When you hit 65 and unlocked tier 4 did you feel accomplished? When you felt weak in tier 4 until 68 or 72 depending on RNG did you feel great about where you were headed? After feeling great did you continue to pursue levels just because they were there?
Season 1 will be a better 60-80 experience because that mostly feels like what is missing from the game. Really think 1.5 months is enough time for Blizzard to come up with something original and then implement it? A season plus for gem tab. Let’s not get crazy here.
It’s going to be covering mostly about the battlepass and trying to get people to buy it… with a bunch of chit chatting/jokes and then mentioning what the season theme will be. Finally at the end they will announce the season 1 start date…
As you can see my expectation is extremely low if they somehow go lower than that then lol

You most certainly missed the fact that the forums released March 17th with the Closed Beta.
Given this is their first season developed ahead of time and added to the higher priced editions of the game I would expect them to put their best foot forward. The game is still fresh and interest is high, they better deliver if they expect this live service thing to be a success. Nightmare Dungeons are still keeping me around but the open world is a joke, especially world bosses and legion events, and apparently they have a sizable progression gap/plateau in the last 20-25 character levels. I kind of despise themselves for giving this game the longest leash I’ve given a Diablo game but at this point I have sort of thrown my hands up irl. I’ll grind like an idiot, let’s see how much life there is to this sort of thing. It’s unfortunate the combat is so basic and that these people have little ambition or imagination but if I keep getting some enjoyment out of this thing I’ll hang around.

Well, I am expecting them to be doubling down on bad ideas, and more 'coming soon 
s with fake questions and etc etc. So I guess I won’t be disappointed too much if these expectations come true.
As all devs say these days “lower your expectations.”
no just don’t expect anything good that’ll come out of it, or just completely don’t expect anything, so everything will be a lil bit fun. the less you know the better.
