Whispers are the most valuable endgame system

I totally agree with you :100: my friend.

Tree of Whispers is actually the most important part of Diablo IV if players want to progress, level and acquire gold. Especially since Blizzard changed how we level up our Health Potions.

The one thing I see so far that is not good in D4 Season 4 is the ridiculous gold cost of leveling up our Health Potions in the game, instead of using mats to level up Health Potions as it was before. This was definitely a bad decision on Blizzard’s part. I find the ridiculous gold cost to level Health Potions punishing, unnecessary and wrong. There is no need to throw this extra burden on players. The Health Potion leveling method should be reverted to how it was before, by having players acquire mats to level up.

On Season 4 so far: I was skeptical about D4 Season 4, considering all of the issues the game had since it launched last summer, but to my surprise I really like the game now. I have been enjoying the new season very much. However, I was expecting more fun events like Blood Harvest similar to Season 2, which was a lot of fun. Season 3 was okay, and I liked the companion part.

Suggestions On Mercenary Companions:
I shared some suggestions about this in previous posts. I still believe Blizzard should add Mercenary Companions in Diablo IV, just like D3 has Mercenary Companions for players to hire and help them in their journey in the game. Having Mercenary Companions would definitely be epic fun and it would make a huge impact in the game! Imagine it: We would have to do 6 questlines every 10 levels starting at level 30, and with each new quest and challenge we would be able to unlock a new Mercenary Companion, totaling 6 Mercenary Companions in the game. This would only be done in the Eternal Realm where Mercenary Companions would unlock for all of your characters once a player completes all 6 quests on their main character, and it would then become available in season game play as well. Not to mention, Blizzard would make a pretty penny selling unique cosmetics for all 6 Mercenary Companions, etc., and we would get to gear up our Mercenary Companions as well, just like in D3. This would definitely be epic fun to have in Diablo IV. I hope Blizzard eventually adds Mercenary Companions in the game. It would certainly make D4 a lot more fun and interesting to play.

On Helltide Events: I never liked Helltide events until I experienced the new reworked Helltides in this new season 4, and I must say it is intense, more rewarding and a lot of fun. The gear itemization, overall game improvements and new game mechanics are very good as well.

Blizzard did a very good job with this new Season 4 of Diablo IV, even though the initial release and update on May 14, 2024 was not very good with login issues and crashes, which I never experienced in Diablo IV since the game launched in June of 2023.

It turned out to be an issue with the Nvidia DLSS Frame Generation in the Graphic settings, and it was addressed with Blizzard sharing a workaround to disable the DLSS Frame Generation. After that, I haven’t experienced any crashes or issues with the game, which is very good. At the end of the day we can’t expect perfection with any game.

On a final note, D4 Season 4 is off to a solid start and I’m actually enjoying the game very much. I’m even leveling up more than one character, and will try out Hardcore again in this new season 4. Now my girl wants to jump back in the game and play D4 again too lol.

I sincerely hope this trend of improving and making D4 better, more fun and rewarding continues, minus the bugs of course.

With that said, Blizzard seems to be making a genuine effort to improve Diablo IV for all D4 players, and that is a big plus. I’m all for it! I hope Blizzard continues on this path, because it is a win win for everyone. So, keep up the good works and efforts, Blizzard D4 Team, they are appreciated! - Cheers! - JJ - :star_struck:
