Only reason I doubt it will work is it seems the glyph only boosts specifically +damage or +reduction modifiers.
Armor does boost reduction, but as armor converted to reduction based on values.
Gonna check shortly after these cursed work things stop taking up my time. 
Threw the glyph in starter board and it shows no increase from it.
So definitely needs to be specific to +damage/absorption and specifically say physical on the tooltip.
