Shop question here so for those that think cosmetics are too expensive, you can just move on.
Why are there so few Spiritborn cosmetics in the shop? I think we got four at release and nothing new has rotated in yet? I figured after a month we’d at least start seeing new cosmetics. Didn’t they have a ton lined up for the first five classes at game launch?
I noticed that too. Nothing has been added to the shop for any character… So it’s not just SB.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but as far as I recall, releasing a large batch of cosmetics over the course of the first week of a season and then no more until the next season has been the way Blizzard have handled Tejal’s shop since season 4 (event stuff like the Warcraft skins aside). There was definitely a more frequent release cadence before.
The result of that is that the mix of new skins available in a given season seems to reflect the classes that were popular in the prior season (see the deluge of rogue sorcerer and barbarian skins in S6). It seems they maybe didn’t anticipate the spiritborn being as popular as it has been.
Short answer is because their brand spanking new.
While the other classes have been around for over a year.
After that I’d have to grab crayons and draw you a picture to explain in more detail
Don’t worry, I am sure they’re working on some new skins right now. D4 is a cash shop with arpg elements.
You can bank on it. They’ll hit the shop within a few weeks I’d imagine. There’s a reason they didn’t nerf/fix SB other than “we said we wouldn’t do that.” It’s simply because there are so many FotM players on them now, which probably translates to big $$ cash shop wise.
Well here we are now at the start of March 2025 and still next to nothing for Spiritborn in the cosmetics store. Meanwhile the other five classes have portal bundles, accessories bundles, special add-on packs, and more! Same for the season pass… nothing in it for Spiritborn. Why even bother bringing in a new class with the expansion if Blizzard are going to do feck all for it?
You have your choice between China dragon, china dragon, and china dragon aesthetic. Take your pick.
