What's the fuss about shako?

I think it’s about the name, Shako, it sound weird, so people are talking about Shako all the days. At the dinner, some says, “hey, did you know about Shako?
_ about what?
_ about Shako, you don’t know what is a Shako? I can’t believe it. Shako! Come on… Shako!”

It will have been better if it was named like “kartofel” or something.

Nice. Throw up a ludicrous strawman. Mature.

It’s my opinion, no straw needed.

Thanks for taking part today.

So why do you feel the need to put down something you’ve not tried and seemingly aren’t too interested in?

Two reasons (for me personally, at least):

  1. There is no justifiable reason to have drop rates on any useful/usable gear item that are, from what I’ve been hearing, lower than your chance to win the lottery in any major country. On top of this, the current most effective method of “farming” these items is based on a limited time event (helltides). There’s no reason that someone dumping 300+ hours into this game should not see one of these items drop as a reward. Eternal realm or not, this doesn’t make sense, to me at least.

  2. There’s supposedly hundreds of people that have already gotten these drops thanks to their “bug” (which realistically, considering the current player base, is still a drop in the bucket and could be considered very rare). It’s not fair to the players that had one drop during this time, nor the players that did not have a chance to experience this so called “bug” for themselves and get something cool from it, to either nerf it into oblivion again, or to roll back inventories for those who’ve already gotten one. Realistically, the best way to handle it imo would be to leave the rates as they were. This way, newer players have the chance to experience them as well.

Think about it, a season is going to last 3 months. What chance do you think people will have in farming these within that time frame when there’s literally been less than can be counted on one hand that have dropped previous to this “bug”? How is that fair to their loyal player base that have or will dump(ed) hundreds/thousands of hours into this broken, poorly-thought-out, and unintuitively-designed game?

They forgot to add on helltide chest to add the code line in the box

“You will never get the item as normal” -10.000% chance on drop rate.

A simple code line, missing in the helltide chest loot boxes, when they added uniques in the loot table.

The result, people had fun.

The fix, deactivated all unique on a global layer by switching a line there from 1 to 0.

They show a absolutely Desaster in game philosophy by deactivating the uniques.

Thats all the battlepass is for

I’m not invalidating the eternal realm. I’m actually against seasons but there are so many ARPG people in the forum pushing this idea is the better way to run this game.

Eventually Blizzard will provoke the eternal players to hop the bandwagon with their Season 2…3…4 and the rest of the player base dries out in the eternal realm.

alot and i m ALOT of people will stay on the eternal realm - also i plan to play the season but test stuff on the eternal realm so missing items others got for free is an huge issue

Since I can do Season stuff in the Eternal realm, I have no reason to join the season BS.
Additionally, since we have no space currently, hording items that may or may not stick around doesn’t sound fun either.
“But the Cosmetics” stop no, I dont care.

Think of it this way, you get your paycheck on the 1st of each month. One month, it is $24,000,000 instead of $2,400. You might be able to hide the money fast enough but the company is going to come after all that extra money. The same thing happened with Blizzard. So, the same thing should happen with the uniques.

Then what is the issue? Not everyone cares about cosmetics.

Every season offers some unique feature, like the malignant hearts in S1.
That has nothing to do with the BP.

Also seasons are a way to replay the game from zero, after you are through everything on eternal. (my reason to play D3 seasons)
That ofc. does not yet make much sense for D4, because it is still rather fresh and you need much more time to actually being through it.

There should also be ladders in Seasons, that always offer a new challenge/competition against others.

Imo the BP is the least interesting reason to play seasons.
But i also do not care for cosmetics.

It’s all FOMO.

People who didn’t get it are jealous they didn’t get a chance to exploit it too

I dont personally see the Shako thing as an issue, someone has it and is stronger now…and??? this isnt a pvp centric game and the pvp we do have is busted as crap anyway in its current and likely permanent form ,also there are no leaderboards as of yet (not sure about seasons) to climb so its effectively a single player game with optional co op and optional pvp if you want to have your butthole wore out.

On the one hand, Blizzard should have thought out, implemented things differently. On the other hand, people were just not playing Helltide, etc. and then complaining the game had no content. So, Blizzard upped the experience and changed the loot table. This has been done with Nightmare Dungeons and should have happened the same way. However…

They already said Seasonal content will be available in the Eternal Realm. Battlepass aside, Eternal gets everything Seasonal does.

At this point, that is quite literally the only reason to run Seasons. The rage on the forums make it quite evident that many do not care for restarting.

Unfortunately, if they do ladders, it’ll be a long time down the road. After millions have left the game.

That should be ok, since millions don´t care for ladders.

Some people feel they got rich off this and are selling their accounts on other sites for real money. Those that want to do the same are upset it was hotfixed and mad they won’t make big money.

You sure they didnt mean uniques, aspects only? Cause the seasonal mechanic and story should be exclusive to season.
