yeah if you focus spells and builds necros can do ALOT of damage, but that’s not a summoner necro.
Sadly blizzard seems to hate us rolling around with a dozen skellie boys…

My bone spear necro still claps after the nerfs on eternal and I will be using the malignant heart that boosts critical damage and lowers non crit damage so this last patch wasnt really an issue for me.
Now dont get me wrong, I absolutely DESPISE the mindset of “nerf everything currently working until it sucks as much as X class”, that non sense has ruined games like TESO and others for decades.
Every time an professional E gamer with his own private network of mules and farmers uploads an video of him doing some dumb stuff bam, either your build or a large chunk of your farming route is gone.
Buff things to bring them on par with the things you are nerfing rather then just making everything equally suck.
This is an ARPG, not FFXIV, its supposed to be mildly challenging and rain loot with options to sweat if players choose.

I may default back to DRU, because it’s what I know, and in light of the complete clusterf* state of balance, it seems like DRU is in fair shape yet, and a safe bet for season one until the other classes get their balanced sorted.
Initially intended SORC, but not so sure now.
I’m a cursed completest in most games, so my primary concern is ensuring I can check all the boxes within 90 days.

Was torn between Druid and Rogue since those are what I’ve been playing since launch
Druid wins out because while I dread chasing tempest roar again , pulverize was fun as filler and the new poison creeper and unique pique my interest
My rogue is fun as hell but felt and feels squishier than my Druid although…that new unique would be awesome in a penetrating shot build
Probably end up doing both since season is 3 months but Druid first

have 88 bone necro = post patch is still viable up to +5 lvls above

Feel like we are gonna see some craziness pop off with shadow dmg this season. Lol. Ive been rolling the spec since launch because I like the whole battlefield control feel, but it was crazy logging in on patch night and seeing ticks more than double what I had ever seen before. Lol
Edit: I have not even tried sever, I did get a perfect roll on the aspect that has a chance to drop a blight pool, but I alread do that with blight. So, meh. Lol

I think what bugs me the most is every time a build kills uber Lilith it’s like Rod Fergusson gets personally insulted anyone actually managed to beat the boss then lines up a nerf for it.
I just don’t understand their mindset that this boss should be impossible to beat.
