I don’t think this is true. I think people over-estimate how many people min/max and google lists and skills to use. Casual players like myself who make builds blind and just pick whatever they think sounds or looks cool will use the ultimate skills and love using them. It’s only really going to be min maxers who google and copy builds that are going to ignore them.
I was using shadow clone on my rogue and loved it.

You do understand that even though you loved it on your rogue with your shadow clone ability, that there’s completely useless ultimates that aren’t being used as well?
I understand that in your personal bubble of a world, you had a fantastic experience, but that doesn’t change the fact that there are a ton of abilities that are flat out useless and that’s a problem when gear rolls on ultimate damage, when you don’t use ultimates.

You are saying they are ‘useless’ and ‘‘no-one uses them’’. Neither of these are true. Lots of people use them just because they look cool and just because 1 skill isn’t as optimal as another doesn’t make it '‘useless’ it just makes it slightly less good. This is just another example of min/max mindset. Not everyone cares that their ultimate doesn’t put out quite as much numbers as another ability, they just pick it because it looks cool.

When it first came out it was an easy 7/10 for sure. After about 3 weeks of playing and seeing that the franchise i love created a shell of a game, 3/10. Truly a huge disappointment. The only saving grace is I know that in about a year those who made this game will move on and Blizz will hire normal devs to make this ARPG to what it should be.

The released a broken beta as a full game that barely functions as an arpg, missing the ver basics of what makes a competent arpg/dungeon crawler.
It’s a boring slog of a spaghetti coded mess.
3/10…it needs a lot of work.
for enjoyment and just personal opinion 10/10.
That said, realistically I’d knock it down to probably 7. The game is enjoyable and fun unless you treat it like a job and play for 12 hours a day like some of these people. But there is undoubtedly room for improvements that I have no doubts will come.

For value I rate 10/10. I have spent a lot of time on this game and I’ll continue to play it.
I view video games like any other entertainment so for me, games are one of the cheapest form of entertainment if you directly compare it to other stuff. That’s why I give 10/10 value.
