At one point in time many people only even did Seasons to unlock a stash tab as the game was firmly centered on Eternal. Unlike D3, D4 has always been designed as a Seasonal game. Eternal exists, but I feel sorry for people that strictly play Eternal like it was D3. I don’t feel the dev team respects it as anything much beyond a character graveyard.
