D2 was a great game and still is for people who fanboyed it back in the days. (like myself)
But it is not a great game with today’s standards.
It has way to many game mechanics which are rather annoying now and i’m happy they are gone.
Don’t get me wrong, D4 has a looot of room for improvement. It needs around the same amount of rework what D3 needed after launch to get the game in a much better shape.
But wanting to compare it to D2 and wanting to have it more like D2 is just people hopping blindly on a nostalgia train.
