So I am looking at changing class. Sorc is too delicate and I am sick of having to spend all my time running around dodging stuff because my Ice Armor is on cooldown and I can’t take a hit without any defensive skills.
Currently what is the best build for Barb? I am hoping at some stage to push NM dungeons, but I doubt I will ever be a high level player. But I would like to know what is best and see if its something I could adapt to.
Leveling up to mid game Rend, mid-game/endgame WW or HotA
If you want consistant and hard to kill then a Bleed Build using Rend is your best bet. Its by no means the fastest (especially compared to something like Ice Shard Sorc) but you rarely die if at all.
I do not find Ice Shards sorc fast at all. I mean yeah deletes stuff if they are frozen and vulnerable but other wise its so slow.
How does Rend scale end game? Like if I was to try push Nightmare dungeons how does it do?
Rend is still up there endgame.
Has quite some issue with overlapping bleeding, short wide range Rend etc.
Strong on ST indeed, weak on packs compared to the other two currently.
So what would be the best Barb build to go for then? more specifically which build is strongest out of the other 2 and which has best survivability?
What build you guys recommend for big boss fights.
Avarice, The Curator.
40-65 level range build?
Also, is there any good sites to goto? Seems like when I try and check for builds, tons of advertisement, the site is trying to get me to click on something that will redirect me to some shady site is what it feels like.
So wondering if there is a good quality site that people go to for builds?
You should check Rob’s latest Rend builds at 100. The two bleed Uniques make it excel on Uniques/Butchers etc.
Whatever you like the most and have some legendos for. There is no Best. The game has not officially even been out a week.
For lvling/campaign = Rend bleed
For NM dungeon pushing / fast clearing = WW
For PVP = HOTA

You’ll be lucky to get gear for your lvl or needed stats to drop. . . But good luck, and expect more nerfs to come.
ARPG developers, these days, do not make ARPG games with melee builds as viable options to play.
