You mean toggle buttons that would do button remapping except you have to decide which set of actions you want to access and press the corresponding toggle button, limited by the number of buttons available for this separate toggle function? What “key modifiers” do you refer to?
Remapping should be breaking down the actions into groups that come into play predictably, and you’re obviously aware by seeing your executed actions on your screen. You should know where you are. The dynamic runes and runewords version may not even go three levels deep and is tightly linked to already existing skills.
Each key having a specific purpose has already been explained as problematic in multiple ways. The only benefit you get is having access to 20 skills simultaneously. Simultaneously there are more options, yet because they’re simultaneous you would both struggle to have a purpose for them (unless there are cooldowns and conditions affecting their availability you would have to keep track of mentally instead of just passing through them) and to use them well. Developers would also have trouble implementing them cross-platform and making them work together. I think we both know Diablo IV will never become WoW.
Yes…
I can recall you not telling it.
Compare what I quote you posting with the subsequent link. I did include a colon mark.
