Constructive feedback provides a basis for developers to work with, which often requires giving suggestions on how to do something.

For building these suggestions, it can be very helpful to imagine that you are talking to someone new to the field, as it happens that experienced professionals can have fixed ways of thinking, leading them to take the same approaches early on when looking for solutions. So there is no harm in going into seemingly unnecessary detail if you have the energy to do so.
