Fine whatever, lol. But honestly, playing a more limited season sounds like a terrible experience to me. Way to go to further segregate the playerbase, lol. Especially when the direct competitor is just around the corner. Oh well.
Honestly, I am not for them banning people just from playing a broken class. RMT, Dupes, other types of similar exploits sure. Even the stupid exploits with tempering and masterworking sure. Just playing a broken class though, no.
I expected this would be the case eventually. Not sure we will hear about it tomorrow. Tomorrow is the S7 PTR stream. They typically don’t talk about season mechanic or even have it on the PTR. They usually do that stream about a week or so before the season start.
Tomorrow will be about class balance for S7. Maybe some loot drop changes. New gear stuff. If they add say a new game mode something like hordes. That type of thing. They usually leave the actual season mechanic out of it.
I wonder if they intend to continue story in little bits and pieces each season until the next expansion. Isn’t there also still a dead spot on the map? That dead spot probably isnt for an expansion as it would be too small. It would explain why it feels like the story is cut off short lol.
Am I the only one that thinks this is the most hypocritical thing ever? lol I mean the banning. They intentionally keep their game perpetually broken and unfixed yet they have the audacity to ban players for using those exploits that the developers don’t want to fix in the first place?? Like, what?? lol
If it was any other industry other than gaming, these full of hypocrisy double standard practices would have driven the company to bankruptcy.
No, this dev team is a mess.
Just to be clear, I’m not for using exploits and such but considering the broken reality of this game it makes me wonder where the offense starts and where it ends.
No, I understand. If people are exploiting the very things that the developers themselves say they arent fixing until next season then IMO have at it. Its just a bad stance from the developers. They should be fixing the exploits like that asap, also put out warnings that further abuse is banable. Then maybe bad first timers for a week or something. If they are going to fix something then its open season. The phrase “exploit early, exploit often” is a real thing. They do the same stuff in WoW. Although they fix the stuff in WoW.
There is no integrity in this game and that starts at the developers. I dont care if this is a competitive game or not. Its an online multiplayer game and needs to have integrity. Also things like broken spiritborn left all season, but this potion bug they try and fix right away. Its the same type of bug. Make it make sense.
I think it all start and ends right here in what you said. Other than the policy of “we’re not nerfing anything until next season”, everything else is game on. Which I would argue it’s impossible to build trust between the company and the playerbase. No integrity is what it stands out to me the most when I think of the D4 team. Meh.
Idk, good luck to whoever is sticking with the game. Personally, and after seeing where they stand on all those issues and the new seasonal base game gating thing, I don’t see myself sticking for long.
Hard for the players to break the game when the devs have already basically broken everything in the game. What is even left to break???
It’s like they want people to RMT. How broken does their game need to be?
You know macro said, if you take a slice of the playing population who actually pay for cosmetics, it’s probably the same group of people who RMT…
So you have a situation of conflict of interest from a data analytical standpoint.
RMT → rising tide lifts all boats → more Skins being bought.
How conspiracy is that? WINK
yes, not for playing a broken class. but the tempering think necro and then change item to SB is defenrtely somrthing you do intentionally. this was also the idea in D3, ban players rhat do exploits intentionally, not by mistake playing something broken.
