Kills with Shred and using Blood Howl only.
When you do either of these things with Waxing Gibbous, you are granted a buff called “Waxing Gibbous Stealth” which, when broken with an attack, grants you “Waxing Gibbous Ambush.” This is what gives you the guaranteed critical strikes.
The boss power just gives you regular Stealth.
