So if it’s true, then those uber uniques can be stolen either. (People used to party strangers for the lv200 bosses).
Btw, whoever designed to load all other players data is definitely a stupid dev. (Or them)

I think it might be a bug. I started a new druid yesterday and a 1GA legendary dropped when I was level 10 – which isn’t possible. When I picked it up, it was nowhere to be found in my inventory. I wonder if you encountered something similar to that.
Those players repeated their trick 3 times. At first I was looking at my inventory and questioning my sanity, I was almost certain that I just picked a GA item from the ground but I couldn’t find it. 2nd time I noticed what is happening, someone was picking every single item which Blood Maiden dropped. 3rd time I was intentionally further away from the corpse trying to see who is doing that. The players were too close to each other so I couldn’t tell. After that they teleported out the same time and I opened the “Local Players” tab and sent the reports. Also, I just launched D4 and there was no crazy amounts of loot on the ground.
As Blizzard said previously - They have a problem because “Your client loads every stash of every player on instance”. So as You see, if its true, im not suprised if bugs, like You all said, exists
The part about seeing them pick up the loot one by one is a clue. The part about seeing it happen repeatedly is another. The part about it happening specifically with these players around (& presumably first time ever) is another. How do you miss so many clues I wonder.
It might be a bug, but good thing you reported it so the imaginary person at Blizzard can look into it.
Yesterday while I was running a pit…I got to a point where I stopped seeing enemies but was hearing attacks. About 1 minute later I was warped back to where I ran through and was surrounded by enemies almost dead. I mean this game sometimes… ![]()
actually if it is somehow really cheating than it’s the most dumbest way to cheat.
Sometimes exploits in software can be abused for many years as long as the information is not widely spread all over the internet. In video games this kind of stuff usually get patched only after someone posts instructions how to reproduce the bug and everyone starts using it.
I don’t have any expectations, I only wanted to tell what I saw.
