Warlock class needs some help

Newest class is also one of the weakest. Buff the Warlock especially Dread claw build which is fun to play but pathetically weak!

Warlock can do PIT 131.

I don’t think its weak.

Dread Claw will be lucky to clear a 100 pit.

use the overpower version of Dread Claw…

Like all other classes, your favorite spec is probably undertuned or doesnt have the multipliers available to other specs. You’ll need to swap to apocalypse or tyrants if you want to progress, or keep dread claws and hit your ceiling

yes you are correct, I have 37 stacks of Dread claws right now and it hits like a paper doll. I just hate to run the class meta build. it’s just so generic feeling.

A General Contractor takes a blueprint and builds a house. There is nothing wrong with following a blueprint especially since the Warlock is a brand new class so using a guide is like using an instruction manual until you are up to speed.

I reached T12 world tier with my Dread Claws variant yesterday. And that is without using the Cube or War Plans since I wanted to do the campaign in T12.

I obviously cleared 100 pit. That is how I moved up to T12.

And I got most of the way there with only the neck Unique.

I mean it is a A tier spec it seems so it’s not up there with the big bois of Apocalypse and Tyrant’s Grasp.

Those two are S tier and are not weak at all.

Cleared Pit 100 / unlocked T12 with ease yesterday with an Abaddon Minion build.
And I still am not even wearing a full set of Ancestrals and 4 of my Ancestrals don’t have GAs, I have only Transfigured 2 items, and I still don’t have a mythic seal, and not even Paragon 200 yet. Lots opportunities to get more survivability and more DPS.

Soon I’ll be doing T12 content as smoothly / quickly as I currently do T11 content.
Warlocks don’t “need some help”.

I started playing the warlock the other day….

Eeeesh, it was WEAK AF…. weak weak.

I went straight to penitent, got my butt kicked.

I went to hard, I still coudln’t handle anything.

This was with over 200 paragon points (Thanks to my 1st class as the Sorcerer).

I had skills I thought would be good, but (NO GEAR), and I still couldn’t handle hard mode.

If I was my sorcerer (with no skills/points) i feel i would of done better…maybe.

Anyway, I started in normal and joined random groups……lol.
This high level Warlock that was an empty shell running with level 1’s and 9’s

What I was missing was proper Gear to help with my damage and survivability, cause the gear I had in my stash I had to be level 70.

Once I hit 70, BAM!!- everything was easy and I was killing things left and right.

Leave the Warlock alone.

Have to take these posts with a grain of salt. It’s obvious the class itself isn’t that bad. Now is it levels of OP like the paladin and SB when they released? No, but it holds its own. The issue being it isn’t as apparent, or as intuitive. You don’t just suddenly invest into a paragon node and blam you’re automatically able to do a 120+ pit.

I think my ISP are working on the internet in my area because my connection is awful right now so i’ve only given you a 101 but you can easily do 100+ on dread claws

This is the smoothest one i could get with no disconnects and somewhat stable ping, it never jumped over 100 this run but it definitely felt like it was still around 300 for the first couple of minutes where i’m nether stepping into walls and abilities aren’t casting when i want them to.

This was the kind of nonsense i was dealing with, i died twice in this run and neither of them i could say was due to the lag ironically, more user error with still pressing old evade keybind.

Hello? Wait, there’s the Spiritborn, Druid, and Paladin on the line. They’re probably waiting for buffs too.
