Probably beacause they are planing more expacs for D4 than any other Diablo game before. They would probably be unable to add 2 or 3 new classes with each one to be meaningfull. Eventually everyone would expect more than one new class with each expac, and eventually run out of classes fast, and can’t keep up the expectations.
