Well this is just really pathetic and sad.
Dude wtf is taking so long… screw the same time crap and just start letting groups online to play… it will help the servers anyways. It’s a mess you messed up but say you messed up and let’s start playing… I feel soo bad for the EU players… staying up late or taking days off from work to play at 3am on a weekday… and then the game isn’t even able to be played!!!

bnet should be on 2.0.2 it should of started preloading on the 4th it didnt so thats where the problem is everyone else has 2.0.2
Yeah same here. I was kind of confused when I downloaded the “pre-release” content 4-5 days ago why the game didn’t update like WoW does when they update the game for a new exp release.
well considering I’ve never had an issue with any wow expansion i assumed the same company was uniform across all games… but then i completely forgot about prior D4 releases …
I downloaded this update in the pouring rain, 57Gb uphill both ways… All for this?

What if the delay is due to the devs reading the forums for the past week and realizing…“damn thesse people do want balance”…and now they are trying to balance SpiritBorn before they launch it?

That makes sense, Steam doesn’t really allow for pre-downloading of patches like the Blizzard launcher (and probably consoles) does.
Blizz should have timed it better, but I imagine they’ll work that out for the next expansion.
