This 100%, as a network engineer I have a hard time understanding it. You plan, stage and lab if you need to before going live. But without knowing exactly what is going on it’s hard to point fingers.

Going on 20 years of MMORPGs and Blizzard still can’t launch a game or expansion without screwing it up. How and why is this acceptable? Also, nowhere in the patch notes does it mention they’ve actually fixed Willpower to give us Resource Generation like the tooltip claims it does. Nearly a year and a half - and an expansion - later and one of the main stats still doesn’t work as intended? What kind of a clown show is this?

In your dreams, the game will still be buggy and unplayable at launch, not to mention the long waiting to login issues and disconnects like it has always happens in the past with blizzard…
same goes for me hillbilly
Be warned, a lot of us haven’t had our shots and are pretty feral.

It’s not Walmart. They aren’t going to lose a million dollars a minute due to downtime. It sucks but to have full production / test environment you practically have to double your hardware

I figure that when I click ‘check for updates’ on the battle.net diablo launcher, and it starts installing 2.0.2 it’ll be time to play. Does that thing trigger automatically if its idle?
because we are not getting bnet to start the update we check for updates and close the app but it never just starts
