That being said, I do think some CC to a certain extent should be present only in boss encounters, but they need to be correctly telegraphed and avoidable through learning said said mechanics, rewarding you in a much smoother boss battle.

I don’t disagree. It’s really when I get chained CCed that I get frustrated. There should be a skillful way to counter or prevent.
