Because I was curious I tested this out. I completed the quest on a character than unlocks the vampiric power page and it is completely reset. Dont make an alt… im not sure if there is a point where they are shared but im level 70 on my main and have NOTHING on my newest toon…

Paragon glyphs and vampiric powers should be account wide, I don’t understand why blizzard hasn’t done this already.

they go up to level 3. I’d say it was a big deal, but the best way to XP is to Vampire tide it, so gonna do em anyways. Plus they cap out very fast.

That is true, but keep in mind the upgrade is random and you can only give 1 xp per click. Maybe if they let us spend more xp per click it would atleast be faster to level them up.

Level 3 & they aren’t account-wide, so you’ll have to re-level them on an alt. Fantastic game design isn’t it?

Typical blizzard decisions. One step forward two steps back.
Fix a bunch of things, make the game objectively better at the behest of our feedback and suggestions.
And then go back to the bonehead decision making process that they always use. Only for us to scream on the mountaintops for changes…simple “duh why didnt you see this coming Mr Developer” changes. And then they change it 3 months later because AAA company with big boy adult Daddy Money can’t fix things too quickly where as smaller indie devs can.

only thing I don’t like about the vampire powers is the slot machine upgrades

Yeah, Id be okay with redoing them all over again if I only had to do the 5 I want for each character.

Pretty Random stuff :joy::joy::joy:

They level up to 3, and yes, they are character specific. So, no, your alt won’t have any, and you will have to grind that all over again.

I don’t understand why they thought it would be better to have upgrades essentially be full RNG. I try to put myself in the mind of a designer or developer and ask how this benefits the player, but I just can’t understand the thought process.

How does it benefit the player’s experience for the upgrade system to be a complete RNG-fest? How does it benefit players to have to re-upgrade the exact same powers on your alt? How does it benefit players that the powers are completely passive and generic and the same ones get used by everyone?

The season lasts till January. Take your time.
You ppl are complaining too much and its getting annoying, seriously.

As mentioned previously the powers aren’t account-bound, however the remaining Potent Blood you have not used ARE INDEED account bound.

Tbh, I think the glyphs are a much longer grind than the Vampire abilities. The vamp abilities can be done fairly easy as you level the alt up in the green fields which also give good xp and item drops. By, level 60 I had the 5 main I wanted @ level 3 as well as several others as side options to play with. This is in about 1/2 week of casual playing. For very casual (an hour a week day, do on a weekend day while watching the daisies grow/afking a bit) it would be about a week I’d estimate.

That said they seem to have dropped the lure drop (gear too to a less degree imo) rate w/the Friday patch if they keep doing that it will take longer and be into grind fest territory.

the reward for Destroyer is a huge cache of blood points. open it on your alt. problem partially solved.

Just ran an 2nd alt after hitting 100, the potent blood/lures/seeker keys on your first character will be shared across all seasonal characters.

Not exactly hyped that I need to redo all the quest to unlock vamp powers again but also to click the slow AF 9000 potent blood upgrades.

Why can’t devs just make it easy for the players for once ffs.

On one hand, sure why not.

On the other hand, it’s really not hard to max the powers you want to use. you’ll have them all level 3 in the 60s.
