Using some (but not all) abilities via controller input erroneously interrupts player movement, even if the abilities are on cooldown. This is very disruptive to the flow of combat. If you tap the button, the player will briefly pause; if you hold the button, player movement is completely stopped until you release the button.
Examples of some abilities and actions that are impacted:
- Shadowstep
- Smoke Grenade
- Poison Creeper
- Teleport
- Ice Blades
- Inferno
- Leap
- “Interact” action while mounted
I’m assuming this is a bug and not a misguided feature, because this behavior is not exhibited when using mouse/keyboard input. I saw (and reported) the same issue on the PTR build, at that time, the live build wasn’t impacted, furthering my belief that this is a new bug.
Issue is also present on the PS5 build.
