Thanks for the info. Thought was ready to go for tomorrow. Can we call it an update since it didn’t start yet?

Well yes, it is an update… basically patching out s7 PTR for s8 PTR.

It is not an update of S7. PTR is all new installation. I did it a few hours ago. The patch is new.

Never said it was an update to s7. The PTR is just one big server, this update is patching OUT the s7 stuff and patching IN s8 stuff.

Bump. If you select public test realm it will give you an update window. It’s like 10 gigs

I used to play d4 via game pass, but i bought dlc and base game on steam since it was released. Can i join ptr test and use dlc items via game pass?

132 gig for me…i deleted it to make room now redownloading the whole thing for a week, then POOF, deletion till next one.

You have to link your Steam to Battlenet and install the BNet client to play it on PC. PTR copies (at the time it does) the entire Eternal server so everything is there from that side.

I appreciate that. I’ll go ahead and update it…though I probably won’t play much of it anyway…

Im sure there will be lots of posting and videos and screen shots from the PTR out there. For me, ill be testing Necromancer minions. Always my brainless go to for D4 as PVP is a moot point in this game.

Is it possible to edit a txt config file perhaps because now when you start up a PTR you get everything read out allowed like the menu & txt etc. on the screen TTS, and there is no way to go the options I think or is there ? I mean if you want to check 10-100 times today, you can probably guess when they will have it “live” btw. I can always mute sound ofcourse but just a question if any one knows, haven’t searched for it yet now would be the time to test it out I guess ?
