Toxic Claws change = heavy nerf to Shred werewolf?

Doesn’t the Toxic Claws change mean that Shred Werewolf has been heavily nerfed? With Shred no longer applying poison damage from Toxic Claws, that means I don’t have anything naturally applying poison anymore unless I take Raging Shred over Primal Shred. No poison application means no gains from any of the “DR from/damage to poisoned enemies” paragon nodes.

Am I missing something? This is absolutely massive and the kind of nerf that puts an already mediocre build in the dirt.

Please tell me I’m missing something.

Yes it seems the new version only buffs posion damage if you allready can deal poison damage. A better wersion would be “Your attacks deal additional x/y/z% poinsoning damage for some seconds.” This would apply to all our attacks.

Blizzard is under the illusion that Werewolf has a good poison build.

Assuming you don’t go into GR (I think Shred goes for Petrify?), you can opt in for Hurricane + Overload which will poison anything near you.
