You dont. Unless T3 is easy/boring for your build.
Can anyone confirm that you can roll off the GA?
If so they will have more usage as if the other two stats are good, you still get better base values and MW levels than you do a 750, than if we trash based on a bad GA.
You mean by enchanting? I havenât tried but you could reroll a GA pre-expac into a regular affix.
I donât understand why they wonât make Ancestral Legendaries drop with better affixes closer to Uniques. They are uncommon items. Might as well make them a feel good experience when they drop.
Not true at all; I have put in 4x all my peers and they are always the first to get Mythics (they already have them this season). Iâm still waiting for my first. Yet I was the one that got them into T1, T2, and T3. Helped them get mats, gear, and I had the mats to run them thru Ubers⊠lol. So no - it isnât the time played. It is some hidden part of Blizzards warped RNG that sets who exactly gets Mythics.
e.g., Last season all my friends were getting Mythic drops 4 out of 4 boss runs. Zero for me. Difference? I hadnât yet pre-purchased Season 6. The very day I pre-purchased 6, I had 4 Mythics drop for me. Nothing else had changed except money spent.
Sure, random chance can explain it - and it can also explain all the air in your room moving into a corner. But in both cases, the odds are exceptionally small.
I donât mean that time is a guarantee, just that itâs the only real metric (I guess farming efficiency as an adjuster), and that itâs not like, challenge or skill or anything.
This is why those streamers within 2 day of launch have the huge gear. Its why they want it online only so Blizz can cheat the gamers. I did 200 runs of Duriel last season and got 0 Uber uniques. Go register as a streamer with Blizz and you will see your drops get so much better.
I concur, Iâm slogging through Torment 4, and it seems the only upgrade from Torment 1 is an increased drop rate of junk. Here I am, grinding away at 200-300 ladder bosses in search of a Mythic, and nada. So, whatâs the allure of playing on the highest difficulty if the loot doesnât match the effort?
This is all misunderstanding what the tiers are forâŠ
Torment tiers are not there so you can âput in triple work to get triple rewardââŠ
If you work on your build correctly, you donât sacrifice dmg for survivability, you use build synergy to get 10x the dmg and survivability⊠Then you get to the point where you are not only one-shotting everything in T1, but the mobs dont even live long enough to get good uptime on your buffs and energy return⊠when you get to this point, itâs time to go up a torment level so you can farm more effectively at the higher tier. (except evade spammers, who can just farm anywhere with their exploit until 2.0.3)
I agree, the more difficult the more (even better) reward
T1 â T2 â T3 is a natural progression function. If you are paragon 100 with just two legendary nodes and a very slight amount of luck youâre going to crush the tiers easily. You bring up that you need more defense but in truth the defense naturally takes care of itself with one or two pieces of equipment with the right (non-ancestral) roll. For instance if you get an amulet with +30% armor when you masterwork it, even without critical Masterworking, youâre going to have 1800+ armor. Always. Not including a skull. Elements got you down? Well, youâre going to find a mythic that gives you +All Res for certain and upon maxing that out, itâs just a non-issue.
This is one of the few games where you pretty much have to purposefully seek to not have enough defense at the end game. You really, really have to do some work to come up short. And keep in mind that the defensive stuff can be absolutely offensive; you take on that +30% armor and lose maybe 5% DPS but never have to worry about armor for the entirety of the game, forever. Having done it on a few characters itâs not the gear treadmill I thought it would be.
Spirit born is way OP right now.
WHY am i only getting 750 items in T4? 8Hrs in and salvaging every item and none of them are improving the Aspects, i have T2 aspects in T4, helltide after helltide and i havent seen a single 800 power item yet. this is actually turd and a huge waste of time now. Loosing interest fast.
⊠and you will not be able to 1-¶shot any boss, let alone NMD one.
Oh Yeh, of little naiveté! Dost thou not knoweth that using thy brains is a sin?
T4 needs to be scaled down. Monster hp is absurd. Regular trash mobs feel like they have 5x hp and mini bosses feel like they have 20x hp.
The rewards are also subpar with 750power items with the same amount of drops. Drops should match the multipliers of the mobs.
I stay in t3 unless being carried by Spiritborn in t4 Horde
Agreed. Been on T4 for a while and havenât noticed any significant improvement in loot quality or frequency. Ancestral legendaries are still a bad joke on the player base.
Blizzard still struggling with the challenge -reward formula.
I managed to both improve my damage output as well as cap my armor and resistances for Torment IV without sacrificing anything of note. I just had to be extremely specific with my itemization for it to work, with no deviation whatsoever. It was probably not worth the hassle (reward:challenge ratio, etc), but I couldnât let it rest and remain on Torment I.
My rogue, my sorc, and my spirit(of course) can kill duriel on t4 in like 2 seconds.
When you level and get better gear your damage output scales even with the defense
The bad part about all these world tiers is that it dilutes the population.
They should have stick with Normal, Hard, Torment
Yes I have said this all along, there seems to be no reason to push until you have everything you want at the most efficient rate.
