Thoughts on inevitable MTX stash tabs?

Remember, we can always buy tabs w gold that we’ve farmed up. I think whether they sell stash tabs or not is a far lesser issue than things like nightmare dungeon keys, gems and other stuff crowding out everything else in our stash :frowning:

Hideouts in Path of Exile, which is where this term comes from, are a solitary player-specific area where they can set up their map device (endgame system in PoE), crafting bench, and have NPCs that “join” them to provide features from the game all in one convenient spot. It’s not so much player “housing” as it is literally a hideout that only the player can go to unless inviting another player via party.

how do they affect gameplay / game balance they dont , u either horde too much and buy more tabs or manage your inventory and dont buy more , how does one player having 200 stash tabs affect you or how you play the game in anyway what so ever ?

this game is not closed loop like D3, it will have trading between players. players who can store more crap will have a larger advantage in these stupid pseudo competitive seasons that the devs have a fetish for… that is something that will drive player engagement and their in game behavior…

predatory mtx? just dont get them lul

im lucky that i always end up thinking that the free looks are always cooler than the paid for ones. when i see someone decked out in paid for cosmetics i just think “yikes”

im glad there are probably a lot of fashionistas around to support the game for me though

i say again how does it affect the gameplay / balance it doesn’t , people into trading will buy tabs , players that aren’t wont , so how does it affect you ? you are just clutching at straws POE you buy stash tabs , guess what it doesnt affect the game in away whatsoever , it just allows players to store more crap ,

stash tabs / cosmetics do not affect anyone else but the player buying them , it doesnt give them any advantage in game at all ,wether u by the tabs or farm the gold for the tabs they will be available for every player ,

there is no “straw clutching” at all, end game ARPGs with open trading, is trading. more availability for storage in a time crunch gives a clear advantage when gold currency clearly plays a role in character power…

not hard to make the connection here…

again players that enjoy trading and amassing million of gold will buy them / farm gold for them anyway , players that dont wont buy / farm gold for them , so how does it personally affect you in the game ?

if you are the sort of person that likes to trade in game and amass millions of gold then you will have tons of extra stash tabs correct? i dont play to amass millions of gold , guess what how many stash tabs you have hasnt / doesnt / wont affect the game for me or any other player .

yes, i am a market participant in every game i play, obsessively so. if this game was closed circuit like D3 i wouldnt even be on the boards… MTX tabs put me at a disadvantage because i refuse to MTX…

you get it now?

then u will need to farm gold to buy the tabs , instead of buying them, your choice to not buy them is still your choice , it doesnt stop you going down the gold route to buy them .

the complaint here is offering MTX for the tabs, because the ingame cost will be so exorbitant it would not be worth it… its how all of these games operate… offer an option that you dont really have to begin with…

i feel as if you dont know what youre talking about… which is fine in this case… i guess…

Yeah its straw clutching if you think you are going to fill all your current stash tabs with rares you’re not going to be selling because rares drop like candy corn on halloween when everyone around you is salvaging rares because thats the most efficient way to obtain those materials making more gold from crafting material than you are pedaling rares, its economy 101 there will be a higher demand for mats than rares because the leveling game is about item levels not prefix stats those things are common.

There seemed to be plenty of stash tabs to purchase in game. Sunce we can keep aspects on our player and no sets of gear to need to hoard, inventory may not be as precious of a resource as in the past.

brother i filled up my D2R shared stashes in less than a day with tradable goods, you only get 4… it will not take long to fill space with useable loot…

you guys are just not serious about the actual trading aspect, i think this is the major issue here… must be shopping mall JSP users or just self found players… again not a big deal if you dont get it in this case… albeit a little annoying…

good. however the issue is they should ONLY be purchasable in game
