Got on earlier - played till I finished the prologue, Made a second character while waiting for a friend to get on so we could play together - got booted halfway through the prologue with Error Code 316719 - waited 70 minutes, got back in. Played for 5 minutes - got booted again and now waiting in an 141 minute queue… This is just getting frustrating.
made it to level 12 before getting booted mid dungeon…90 min wait after a 2 hour wait to start my day…fun times
so they’ll know how many pre orders there are plus the KFC double down codes. They should have known how many people would be logging on. response 6hrs ago. Hey Blizzard, are you charged by the credit card companies if we dispute our orders?
First queue 95 minutes, get through it, cinematic locks up and I have to restart the game.
Second queue 99 minutes, get through it, get up the hill to baby’s first dungeon. Six rooms in, Error 316719.
Third queue 118 minutes. So I may get to play again in two hours from now.
You’d think after the WoW Classic launch hells they’d figured out how to have your Bnet ID slotted in for 5 minutes in case of disconnects that would let you straight back in. Multi-cent corporation.
ouch…so terrible. At this point the only consistent thing is that Blizzard will screw up a new game in any capacity. Beta, paid beta (yes its different), or full game launch, all of it - a failure of which they are ok with.
Aw man…for the first time ever with a Blizz launch, I decided to give it a good 5 hours or so and THEN try. It was going so well, and I just got booted. Hopefully my character hasn’t vanished, but I can think of worse things than getting to level 6 again. It’s really really fun, I’m loving D4 so far.

the game would be fun without the 60+ min wait times to log on
How do you know though?
cause it would be better playing than watch the streamers with special non drop accounts play
Because I tried getting past the character screen with this error code for over an hour before I restarted client. If I had just restarted in the first place, I would’ve been in game playing instead of banging my head against the wall trying to get in with the error code. Every time I get the error code, I can’t log in and then I restart and then I get in. 4 times now. Every time it works. The longer you wait to bite the bullet the worse it’ll be since now everyone is off work in NA. We’re in peak hours now.
Got back on, for 25 minutes. 316719 again. 46 minute queue this time.

This was 5 hours ago. I just had this happen. Is there any fix at all? Should I log out and go back through the queue, or will this issue still be there? Am I just completely locked out of playing?
its been 9 hours and i still get the error about not having a license is there a ETA on when any of this will be fixed so i can stop getting back in line again and again and again ?
Still getting the 316719 error. Two hours in queue, 20 minutes of gameplay, two hours in queue. Fantastic! <3
Unfortunately that’s how its been for me. Frustrating, but I got nothing better to do tonight, so sitting it the queue and just doing other things in the meantime till the queue pops is just gonna be the routine. I just feel bad for people who work on weekends and thought they were gonna get to play today.
The crashing is how betas go.
The 2 hour queue time is NOT how betas need to go.
I have this error again. I suspect it was going on for a bit before I dc’d myself. I was unable to enter 3 dungeons in the beta areas, but was able to interact with mobs and kill them and get drops. I deliberately went to the character menu, and THEN this error came up again when I tried to log back in.
Edited to add: wow, suddenly a 12 min queue. That really REALLY isn’t bad!
I got error 316719 three times now.
First 2 times it just put me in character select and I could never log back in.
Third time was after I got to the black lake and then I was just stuck there and got no new quest, couldn’t use a waypoint, couldn’t exit dungeon, so I closed the game.
Got stuck on the second queue that has no timer then I got “login attempt timed out code 300008”

I interacted with a quest door and was kicked back to the character select screen around 10 minutes ago. Receiving the 316719 when trying to resume my character. It had been working fine otherwise.

Me too, same thing! I cant get back into the game at all and I too was at Level 6
