I don’t think it’s possible to reverse course. I suspect that the game’s architecture will prevent any such concept. This is also part of why I say it was such a bad decision. So I’ll continue to think of this forum as “Facebook Lite social media” because I don’t expect the game to ever get substantially better than it is.
It’s sad, because even I agree there are parts of D4 – Undercity, Legion, Hordes, NMDs – that are fun. I really want D4 to be excellent, especially after buying the “enhanced” version. But unfortunately too much of this game isn’t fun at all, & even the parts I like get boring really quickly.
I will believe there is hope when Blizz tells us they’re going to make the Eternal server more than a dumping ground. I don’t want to play seasons at all, but I’m tired of the Eternal server being Blizzard’s red-headed stepchild.
