My god shut up about twitch… They were giving out free mTX. People despise streamers. Only reason twitch would ever be pulled up is to use the useless streamers for free MTX. Like I said I looke found prettiest girl put her on mute in the background for the MTX. Streamers are garbage.

It has been said Diablo 4 has been PoE greatest marketer for a reason, and it’s not because PoE people have taken over. It’s because the contrast is stark between how the two companies deal with fixing their game.
Understand on the Season 1 reveal Blizzard devs chose to do a 90 min long infomercial FIRST to sell Diablo Immortal, then the Battle pass, lastly the Season1 video, and ran out of time to address community concerns.
Chris Wilson starts by showcasing the new League and what GGG is currently working on and providing to the community. He normally leaves the MTX nearly as the very last thing he talks about. Then he spends a full 30 min -1hr long in an unscripted open question interview with a community member.
Blizzard is doing this to themselves.

POE at this point is bloatrpg. Lets hope they wipe it all especialy the 1000 currencies.

PoE2 is more an extension of PoE than it is a completely new game. It’s got some different skills, bigger clusters, a new storyline and graphics, but it’s keeping most of its end-game activities the same as well as the original campaign. It’s not going to be a completely new game design like D4. So I think it’s fair to say that people who liked PoE will enjoy PoE2. At least for a while.
And they are slowing it way down. People are already losing it on the forums and its a year out lol.

A year out? Nearly all the streamers are saying 3 months out. Well they are saying August, since GGG did not do a new League this month as they would have or the next.
How long has GGG been pumping PoE2? 5 years now?

The videos they’re showing are the early game, it’s not much slower than POE1 early game. The forums people are being idiots as usual. The POE2 endgame is shared with POE1. Some of the older videos show them blasting screens of monsters with a crossbow quite fast.
Its next year exile con is when marketing will start

That’s not what they are expecting. They think Exile con and then release directly after. Unless GGG recently said something different this is the prevailing belief. By nearly all of the top streamers.

They said exilecon is the beginning of the marketing push, and usually marketing is within 6mo or so of release, so probably beta release at exilecon or shortly after and game in early-mid 2024.
Well currently one of the streamers (Ziz) said he’s already participating in something (testing something) and he can’t say anything about it since he’s under NDA.
Yeah, admittedly I played it last during the heist season, and had an absolute blast with that. Haven’t played it since then so it might have gone down hill.
I’m ok with that. I love slow and engrossing rpgs. I’m playing through Baldur’s gate right now for the first time while waiting for BG3 and having a blast.
It’s doubtful it will launch before 2024. There should be closed betas this year though.
They’ve already announced a new league for August and it’s doubtful PoE2’s launch would happen before then, or even at the same time, since it’s linked to the original PoE.
