The pit needs fixed

Farming with friends is pointless and the amount of material is low. You guys want us to max are gear but it takes way too long especially when we don’t have 8+ hours a day to grind.

That is not even close to the problem with pit. Problem with pit is overtuned shadow boss that you have no defense against because you can not debuff or hit him.
Get all your gear masterwork 12 in a day doing 90 runs. But not when half of them you die because the wrong boss spanws,
Another problem is again it is the hardest content yet the rewards are worse than a single helltide chest. Quality does not go up with difficulty heck doing pit 100 you barely ever see a greater affix.

So if you’re on the Seasonal Realm you have 3 months to essentially ‘complete’ The Pit. Eternal obviously you can take as long as you want.

That being said, what is your goal? To complete all 200 levels within a one week time frame and be done with the season? Genuinely asking, this isn’t meant to be condescending. What would be an acceptable time frame for you to complete everything you want in D4?

That’s not exactly the point I’m making. They need to remove the part where the person who puts it in gets more. And the bosses are sponges. There’s no point playing with friends what so ever and people could make the point to rotate summons but that’s not a fix imo

One of the controversies on this board is the fact people can do Uber bosses with 1 person’s mats. Some think it’s unfair, so their answer to the solution, at least for the pits, is to give party members who didn’t start the pit, only 50% of the materials.

If they made it so everyone gets 100% of the rewards people would have to pay their own shards to enter. Would you be ok with that?

wait you only get half if you dont start the pit? wtf this is a multiplayer game and they punish us for playing together?

Again people complained about Uber bosses, so this is their current solution to the problem. Some people, not all mind you, felt it was unfair to the solo player to gather mats kill the Uber bosses, when a group can just go in with one players materials and everyone gets the same amount of rewards.

Personally speaking I don’t care, but the devs took that feedback, and made Pits this way. So now only the person who opened the Pit gets 100% of the rewards, everyone else gets 50%.

You get 50% rewards but clear pit much faster in a group…much like the pits being challenging, I dont see the issue.

There are 200 levels!?! Ugh :weary: and I was so happy to get to lvl 35 with my eternal frozen orb sorceress…

Edit: it’s much easier to kill the helltide blood maiden solo than clear the lvl 35 pit

The reward isnt gear or loot but satisfaction in tackle hardest content. On the contrary, helltide and “lower tiers” is used to prep for the push, aka hence could be high in looting reward which frantically speaking is boring comparing to satisfaction from skilled manoeuvres

What Pit needs is tunning significant upwards that only the best of best or most dedicated will tackle the content. Shadow boss is the problem, but not as big. The tweak isnt for conditional defences but more informative mechanic so players can read and dodge, failing to do so = 1 shotting is no problem at all.

Even though pit has tier 200, stuck on tier 90 is fine. That gives room to buff builds and implement actual seasonal themes to push beyond. Group synergies can also be added. Its 2024, if you cant maintain a social group n work together as a team, perhaps focuses on less mainstream offline “boring” game.

And Pit Tier 150 is the equivalent of AoZ 25, only the sweatiest of streamers will reach this far and beyond.

I’m good at 35 now and realistically thinking will be lucky to get to 50.

What is the netherion payout at 90? I’m pretty sure it’s 20 at 61. If the payout isn’t over double of what 61 is for half the chance of getting it done in twice the time then you’re better off running 61 twice.

EDIT: upon re-reading perhaps you meant 90x not Tier 90.

I’m pretty sure what’s going to be slowing me down is gold, not netherion.

The idea of the group vs solo for the pit is that in a group you should be able to bump the tiers up, so that the people not opening, get close to what they would get if they were going solo and playing a lower tier.

This doesn’t work when your teammates aren’t geared and aren’t pulling their weight though, then it just slows the whole thing down and yes you’re better off solo at that point. Definitely has room for improvement though but solo vs group efficiency has been a big problem for a while now and at least they’re trying to address it.

The cost to open pits have to be removed, that we can farm pit as long as we want without running out of materials. I dont want do do a nmd for having mats to open a pit…

That is a single player game mentality. You turn up difficulty for fun in single player games NOT MULTIPLAYER!!!
You farm helltide to quit playing vendor simulator and start getting some quality over quantity. Well that is what you hope for anyway.
You have the leaderboard dungeon if you want epeen I want loot and rewards.
